Sleep Optimization

Wake up actually rested.

Is this for you?

You struggle to fall asleep, wake up during the night or too early, or sleep a full night and still feel exhausted. Maybe someone has told you that you snore or stop breathing in your sleep. Maybe your sleep tracker shows numbers you don’t know what to do with. You want sleep that truly restores you.

Our approach

Sleep is one of your body’s most important recovery systems, and it shapes your energy, metabolism, hormones, mood and long-term health. Poor sleep has many possible causes, so we don’t assume. We first identify and treat anything medical, such as sleep apnea or insomnia, and then optimize your schedule, environment and habits. We are not a sleeping-pill clinic: the goal is to understand why you’re not recovering and fix it.

What your care can include

  • A complete sleep evaluation with validated questionnaires and a review of your medications and habits
  • Home sleep apnea testing when your evaluation points to it, or referral to an accredited sleep center
  • Sleep apnea treatment, including CPAP and other options, coordinated with specialists when needed
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), the recommended first-line approach for chronic insomnia
  • Support for sleep timing and your body clock
  • Prescription treatment when appropriate, and supervised help reducing long-term sleeping pill use
  • A review of your sleep tracker data as part of the bigger picture

How we track your progress

We set your baseline, then review your progress at about 30 days, 90 days and six months, using validated questionnaires, a sleep diary and how you feel during the day. Your sleep tracker can show trends along the way.

Precision Nutrition & Lifestyle in this care path

Training, caffeine, meal timing, light and evening routines all affect your sleep. Your nutrition and exercise team adjusts them to support deeper, more consistent rest.

Questions

Will you just prescribe sleeping pills?

No. For most people with chronic insomnia, cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia comes first. Medication may be part of a plan when appropriate, always with careful evaluation.

I’m not overweight. Could I still have sleep apnea?

Yes. The shape of your airway matters as much as weight, and sleep apnea is often missed, especially in women.

Can you use data from my sleep tracker?

Yes, as part of the picture. Trackers are useful for trends, but they don’t replace a medical sleep evaluation.

I’ve taken sleeping pills for years. Can you help me reduce them?

Yes. When appropriate, your physician can guide a gradual, supervised reduction, never an abrupt stop.

How soon will I sleep better?

It depends on the cause. Many people see improvement within 4 to 8 weeks of insomnia therapy, and sleep apnea treatment can help quickly once it’s working well. Your care team tracks your progress throughout.
