The Nara Assessment: where your longevity strategy begins.
Most clinics start with a prescription. Nara Longevity starts by understanding you. Before we recommend anything, we measure where your body stands today and define exactly what you want to achieve.

Visit 1: Your Assessment
Our medical team measures four things and explains what each one is for:
- Body composition scan. Using DEXA or similar body composition technology, we measure what your body is made of: how much is muscle, how much is fat, and how much is the visceral fat stored around your organs, and with DEXA, your bone density. Your weight on a scale can’t tell you any of this. Muscle and visceral fat are among the clearest markers of how well you’re aging, which is why body composition is a starting point of every Nara Longevity plan.
- Blood biomarkers. A comprehensive panel covering your hormones, metabolism, inflammation and nutrition. It shows what’s happening inside your body, often before you can feel it.
- VO2 max. The maximum amount of oxygen your body can use during exercise, measured while you walk or run on a treadmill or ride a bike wearing a light mask. It’s one of the strongest signals of long-term health, and it tells us how to build your training and track your progress.
- Your goals. Together, we define what you want to achieve, from more energy and better sleep to a stronger body or renewed confidence, so every measurement has a purpose.
Your team may also recommend additional tests for a more personalized analysis.
